Aoife Kelly

Aoife Kelly is a concertina player from Dublin with a strong influence of west Clare in her music. From a family steeped in traditional Irish music, she enjoys sharing her music and musical heritage with others. A teacher at the Willie Clancy Summer School for nearly twenty years, she has played at festivals and concerts across Ireland, Europe, America and Australia.

Aoife’s grandfather, the legendary fiddle and concertina player John Kelly, and her father, the fiddle player John Kelly Junior, both played at the 1977 Féile na Bóinne in Drogheda.
