Colm Naughton

Colm Naughton is from Creggs in north-east Galway, where he grew up among a family of musicians. His primary instrument is the banjo, but he also plays mandolin, tenor guitar, bouzouki and acoustic guitar. He has over twenty-five years’ experience in live performance, recording and teaching. He has released two solo recordings, The Space Between the Notes (2013) and a collection of self-penned tunes, Running Through Woods & Falling in Bogholes (2021). Máirtín O’Connor has said of Colm: ‘I’ve always known Colm as a very accomplished and versatile banjo and mandolin player. His playing is always rich, full-bodied and full of heart.’
