Gerry Cullen

Gerry Cullen was born in Drogheda and has been singing traditional songs and his own compositions for many years. He sings with the Voice Squad, an unaccompanied harmony trio that has toured the US, Canada and most European countries, and has appeared countless times on television and radio. The Voice Squad has released three CDs to great acclaim and recorded with artists such as Sinéad O’Connor, Elvis Costello, the Chieftains and Dolores Keane. Gerry has released one solo CD, The Blue Cuckoo, and sings on two albums featuring local Drogheda singers: Ceangailt Chlainne: Singing Families from County Louth and Louth Mouths. He also sings at a weekly singing session in Drogheda.
