The Night Before Larry Got Stretched (‘Larry’ for short) is a collective of traditional singers from Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 2012, the group began hosting monthly singing sessions in The Cobblestone pub, Smithfield, with the aim of creating a youth-led space for the practice, enjoyment and dissemination of traditional singing.
Since then, ‘Larry has provided over a decade worth of programming, providing a platform for singers of all levels, from the novice to the most revered names in the Irish song tradition, such as Christy Moore, Kitty Cassidy and Nell Ní Chróinín.
