Sorcha Pollak is a Dublin-based Irish Times journalist. She specialises in immigration reporting and co-presents The Irish Times In The News podcast.

While most of her work is based in Ireland, Sorcha has reported for the paper from Honduras, India, Peru, Jordan and Lebanon. 

Her first book ‘New to the Parish: Stories of Love, War and Adventure from Ireland’s Immigrants’ was published in 2018.

Sorcha previously worked for the Guardian newspaper and TIME Magazine in London and has also lived and worked in Peru, Delhi, Seville and Paris.
