Mary Reynolds
Bestselling author, activist, speaker, writer of the wildlife gardening column in the RTÉ Guide and an occasional television presenter, Mary is the founder of the global movement “We are the ARK – Acts of Restorative Kindness to the Earth”.
She self identifies as a ‘reformed landscape designer’; launching her international career by achieving a gold medal for garden design at London’s Chelsea Flower Show in London in 2002 (the story of which was made into the 2016 film Dare to be Wild).
She has since dedicated her time to raising awareness of how we can restore the earth’s native plant and creature communities, and remind people that our role here on this beautiful home of ours is one of guardian, not gardener.
